For opportunities to provide program services. Establish low-income clients using Federal Poverty Guidelines at 150% federal poverty level. Identify minority groups within highly concentrated geographic areas, and work with State and county-level agencies to identify uninsured population clients.

Target

Sourced populations through marketing and advertising campaigns (Facebook, website, county agency contacts, AARP (and other senior-centric membership groups), Patch newspapers, and press releases.

Analyze 

Cleansed demographic information, needs, restrictions to optimize program efficiency. Develop estimated client reach by category (i.e. age, race, income, geographic location). Determine launch priorities (phased approach vs. mass implementation).


"R"

Respond

To programming need and provide services.


"T"

Track

Progress using monthly SOAR® reports. Use programming efficacy metrics to determine if meeting benchmarks, identify when not, and make immediate changes when underperformance (70% - 84% effective), temporarily suspend and realign programming (<70%)

POWER was created in 2010 to directly address the needs of the community, deploying initiatives such as Project F.E.E.D.® (Friends Ensuring Every Dinner), Project Warmth®, and iLearn® under a 501(c)(3) sponsorship. On September 10, 2018, POWER obtained its 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Thereafter POWER expanded their scope of services to include a specific focus on aging, education, finance, food insecurity, health, housing wellness, and social justice and reform in low-income, minority and underserved communities (LIMUs) adding programs The Justice League®, Senior Connect®, iAmArt®, iPlay® and LavaLove®
