Catherine DeMario

Catherine DeMario is currently a sophomore at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. She is a dedicated violist who has been playing for ten years and currently participates in the Stevens Orchestra. She was the principal violist of both the Honors Orchestra at her high school and the Sussex County Youth Orchestra (based in NJ) throughout her high school career. Catherine participated in the North Jersey Region I Orchestra and the New Jersey All-State Orchestra. Catherine has had the opportunity to perform at both Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall -- twice with a string quartet and once as a soloist. Catherine also enjoys sharing her talent with others: she works with string students on a private basis and teaches at a music camp for children during the summer. She is greatly looking forward to inspiring a passion for music in iPlay®'s students.
