Kennedy Brehm

Kennedy Brehm is a sophomore at Bloom Carroll High School in Carroll, Ohio. She has played clarinet in various ensembles--both through school and the community--for 5 years. While being a member of Capital University’s Youth Bands, she also performs annually at local solo competitions. Though musical opportunities have been limited during the pandemic, she has continued her musical growth by learning from various college professors across the country through auditioned virtual honor bands. She also plays tenor saxophone in her school’s Jazz Orchestra and the Columbus Youth Jazz Program, as well as directs her school’s marching band as a field commander. Her favorite clarinet solo piece is Aria by Eugène Bozza; however, she also enjoys various musical genres. She is constantly listening to music, with her favorite artists being AJR, Taylor Swift, and twenty-one pilots. She is excited to share her passion for music as an instructor for iPlay.
