Patrick Schneider

Patrick Schneider is currently a Junior at Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ. He has been playing piano since the beginning of his seventh-grade year and has since spent hours listening to his favorite artists trying to figure out what they are playing on the piano. His teacher emphasized many classical and jazz influences on him which has greatly influenced the music that he listens to and enjoys. His teacher also took Patrick under his wing at a local school where he taught many of his teaching styles and helped reinforce some important teaching strategies. Patrick’s goal in the next few weeks is to focus on enjoying the piano and learning how to learn on the piano so that his students have the ability to continue teaching themselves after their lessons. A lot of what Patrick has learned over the course of his education has come from watching YouTube videos of songs that he loves.
